About Sheila



Most importantly, I love people and believe in their basic goodness and
desire for wholeness.

I have a master's degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in
marriage and family therapy. I hold my undergraduate degree in Sociology as well as Political Science. I received a Specialization from Antioch University in working with Gay and Lesbian clients and have continued training in Object Relations and Jungian Depth Psychotherapy.

I have a background in the Arts and am a published author of fiction.
I continue expanding my understanding of the Psyche and hold certificates in psychoanalytic training from the Psychoanalytic Center of California and the Jung Institute of Los Angeles. I began my clinical training at the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center; Center for the Study of Youth at Cedars Sinai Hospital; Aurora Behavioral, Las Encinas Hospital and trained under the supervision of Dr. Mary Hayden.
